Meet Our Staff

At Falling Water Baptist Church, our staff members are dedicated to serving the Lord and our congregation. They bring a wealth of knowledge, experience, and passion to their roles and are always happy to help newcomers get connected with the church community. Whether you’re looking for spiritual guidance, practical support, or simply a friendly face, our staff is here for you. Brandon Carder –
Lead Pastor

Brandon grew up not too far from here in Athens, Tennessee. After graduating high school, he enlisted into the Army as a combat medic in which he completed two tours in Iraq. He then came back home to pursue an education. He graduated  from the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science. Sensing the call into ministry, Brandon then enrolled at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary where he completed his Master of Divinity in 2016. Brandon has been in full-time ministry since 2016. He served at his previous church as an associate pastor for nearly seven years, and then answered the call to be the lead pastor of Falling Water Baptist Church in the Fall of 2023. He is married to his beautiful wife Heather and has two children.
